Statement of Ethics

At the heart of our statement of ethics is the belief that all activity, whether it is carried out by directors, staff or members is done in accordance with the Core Values with integrity, fairness and honesty, and which is underpinned by the Statements of Principles.

Statements of Principles

1. To honour God and the Lord Jesus Christ in all that we do, building on our heritage of faithful and successful service, moving forward by faith into the future God has planned for us

2. To achieve a level of excellence in all that we do and in the quality of our interpersonal relationships which is a profound challenge to the unbeliever

3. To use our God-given gifts in serving each other, our customers and our suppliers, in right relationship and with integrity deserving of the trust which will be placed in us

4. To provide financial services to all our customers in a manner which encourages responsible financial stewardship

5. To enable our staff to understand their place in the organisation to which they choose to belong, to be sure of their calling to serve in the capacity given to each one of them and to develop their full potential

6. To understand the place of our business in the advancement of the Kingdom of God and the unique contribution which He has called it to make

7. To make money, understanding that excellence in the use of the skills that God has given us will be rewarded, and that money enables us to grow what we do and the way in which we serve

8. To respect God’s provision of the resources we manage, recognising that we are only stewards of that which has been entrusted to us

9. To encourage accountability, openness to change and growth in all its varied forms
